It is so wonderful to know that we can go to the Lord in prayer as we go through our journey here on earth. He will go with us each step of the way if we trust and obey.He is the best friend we will ever have.I am so glad I know him and that he will be with me till the end.
Daily prayers will diminish your cares.
Evening and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud:and he shall hear my voice. Psalms 55:17

We were listening to some music of the Duggar family tonight. The Duggars are a Christian family with strong christian values. They have their own TV show.My daughter and me love to watch them.It is a good clean christian show to view.It is so good to have something to watch on TV and be blessed. There are not too many clean TV shows that we can view any more.I wish they would bring back some of the good old shows that had some moral values.God wants us as Christians to keep our minds and hearts clean and pure in anything we do.Our actions and values should be lived to where people can see that God lives within us.I know we are not perfect but it is so wonderful to know we are forgiven.I want you to meet the Duggers and the Bates family that appears on their show from time to time.I hope you are blessed.May God Be With Each Of You.
A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches. Proverbs 22:1

We woke up the other morning and decided to get away and relax a little. We found a campground about a hour away.It had a beautiful lodge with beautiful decorated rooms that you could tour. There was a country store. The campground was once a plantation which was neat.As we entered the campground we went down a long narrow road.My mind wondered back to the day when maybe it was horses and buggies going down that same road.We have came a long ways over the years. We got our RV parked and settled in for a couple of days.We walked around and seen the lake with some cute cabins nearby, did a little sightseeing. One day we rode over and found a cabin that my husband's great great grandfather lived in with his family many years ago.It was neat.We went to one antique store and found a yard sale.We did some grilling out.We went to a fruit stand and got some fruits and vegetables to cook.Mostly we just relaxed which was nice.We had a nice time just getting away.I am so thankful God allowed us to have this time together. We are now back home waiting to see which way God will lead us with my husband's job.Pray for us that God's will be done.I am not sure if I told it but his company shut it's plant down last month. He no longer has a job.God is taking very good care of us.I know that God will provide and his hand is over our home.He always makes a way.So it did do us all good to get away and relax and have some quite family time after the big shock that we have gone through. Please keep my family in your prayers and all the families everywhere who have lost jobs and having problems finding one which are very few.
God will take care of you, through every mile, through every trial,God will take care of you,God will take care of you. This was a verse we use to sing as a child in church. It still holds today and always will.
Bible Verse For The Day: God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble. Psalm:46:1

Special Occasion Eating
Hope everyone had a great 4th of July.My family had a nice day.We grilled out and went to see the fireworks. They were so beautiful.I did very well on my diet.Instead of the usual hot dogs and hamburgers,I had grilled fish, grilled vegetables, and watermelon. The rest of the family had the traditional meal hot dogs and hamburgers. The foods I once ate I don't want now which is good. This is telling me that my taste has changed and now is getting use to this life style change. As of today I have loss 34.4 pounds.I have started walking now, which makes me feel so much better.I along with my husband usually walk in the evenings which is very nice.I found this in the newspaper and wanted to share:God did not give us our bodies to be defiled, and if we engage in bad habits we are neglecting this wonderful gift from God.So we should take care of our body:eat right, exercise daily, and get plenty of rest.We will probably find that the spirit that dwells within us will be a lot happier once we start taking care of our temple. It has taken me so long to see this,it does make a difference when we change our eating habits.I am so glad God let me see where I was going wrong with my bad habits of not eating right, not getting exercise and rest and not taking care of myself which belongs to him.I thank him for where I am today with this life style change.I have not done this alone he has been with me all the way.I thank him daily and give him the praise.
The Lord hath done great things for us;whereof we are glad. Psalm 126:3
