Pilot Mountain State Park

We live in the middle of N.C. and recently visited Pilot Mountain State Park.I was born and raised not too far from here, but I have never been up to Pilot Mountain. We have passed the mountain on the highway many times but have never been to the top.The other weekend we decided to go on a picnic so that is where we went.I have been to many overlooks but have never seen one that is so beautiful. You could see for miles. We had a picnic and then went over to the town of Pilot Mountain to a car show and went through some antique shops.I want to share with you one of God's most beautiful masterpieces Pilot Mountain.Hope you enjoy.May God Bless.

What GORGEOUS pictures! What a beautiful part of the country! I guess each part has it's own unique beauty doesn't it? God has been so gracious to us living where we love to live and all of the changing seasons. We even love the snow! lol!

If I had my choice I would pick the orange street rod! What a beauty! There is a little garage up the road from us and they restore old street rods and I love driving by and seeing what they are working on. Some of them have flames painted on them and some are just plain like the orange one. All are pretty.

Thanks for stopping by and may God bless you and yours!
